Workshop on Curriculum Development in English , Prof. Kishori Nayak Mangalore university briefing the teachers

One day university level workshop on curriculum development in English was convened jointly by the Association of English language Teachers and the Department of English Mangalore University College. Dr. Kishori Nayak was the chief guest for the workshop , Dr. Udaya Kumar M.A, Principal , University College Mangalore presided over the proceedings.  As the CBCS syllabus/ course was to be introduced in 2019-20 , the English Language Teachers association in collaboration with the English Department of University college Mangalore decided to convene this workshop for the English teachers of the Mangalore university undergraduate colleges. IN the workshop 122 teachers participated . Dr. Kishori Nayak, the dean of the Arts faculty, Mangalore University briefed the participants on the structure of the Choice Based Semester System. Dr. Rajalakshmi. N.K. Senior faculty in the association addressed the participants on the structure and limitation of the syllabus introduced in the new system. Dr. Uday Kumar M.A delivered the presidential remarks. This was followed by the discussion on the syllabus in detail. The superannuated members of the Association were honoured
